And then there was “Logic”.
At the beginning of the 1990s, Emagic dropped the prefix “Notator” (as well as support from the venerable Atari ST platform) from the product name. The pins of the iconic MIDI din connector appeared inside the “o” of Logic with a musical note and a natural coming out of it.
It wasn’t until 2002 that Apple acquired Emagic and the support for the Windows platform was dropped also. But that’s another story
